Huddersfield - Carry on Captain

Huddersfield Town captain Jon Worthington will be on the sidelines again, after suffering another injury at Gillingham in what was his first game back after his hamstring problem.

Of course Worthington, also had a long spell on the sidelines before the hamstring problem, in the first half of the season with a groin injury which was finally resolved through surgery .

Town physio Lee Martin told the Huddersfield Examiner:

'We're carrying out intensive treatment on the joint which will speed up the recovery process, but Jon still faces another spell out.'

Some estimates say it could be another four week lay off, which will see him miss the many crucial games in March.

This is a blow to the terriers, we don't really have another midfielder as combative as Worthington, and his presence will continue to be missed.

It looks like Robert Page will have the captains armband for a while yet.

This could see Kamara or Schofield restored to the starting eleven, with Collins pairing Holdsworth in central midfield, or possibly the in favour Berrett, of course there is an outside chance of a loan signing.
