We asked Vital Swansea some questions before the visit of League leaders to the Galpharm Stadium on Saturday
How's your season been so far?
Superb, what more can you say. Roberto Martinez's impact here has been immense and is set to get us promotion to the Championship in his first full season with us.
Whilst our previous manager Kenny Jackett failed to do so spending around a £1million on players, Roberto seems set to do it spending a lot less than half of that. The only real fee we paid last summer was £250,000 for Darryl Duffy, who has hardly featured this season.
Who should we watch out for?
I would say in particular our midfielders. Butler seems to be in good form lately although sometimes he can have an off day here and there. Bodde has been one of most important signings this season, signing for a low fee from Ado Den Haag. Leon Britton can also be a handful with his skill and trickery.
Despite receiving a lot of criticism from some fans, our top scorer Jason Scotland is excellent in and around the penalty area and will need to be tightly marked if he isn't to score.
Any thoughts on our team?
I've been surprised with your season this year, I thought you'd be competing around the play-offs. Despite of that I think it'll be a tough on Saturday, you beat us at home which only Doncaster have done as well.
Prediction for the game?
I'd be happy with a draw. We have a few injury problems here and there. Our left back is out injured and Kevin Austin will replace him. He's too slow so we could be vulnerable on our left side, especially if you have a pacy right winger.
How does your season and your position compare with your pre-season expectations?
I was hoping for a top 6 finish and would have been happy to get into the play-offs, but was never expecting to be top of the table. I thought it would take a season for Martinez to settle in and develop his squad but it's been rapid.
