Orient 0 v 1 Huddersfield Result

Latest from London as Huddersfield play Orient, at the Matchroom Stadium.

Town team

Glennon
Sinclair, Page, Clarke, Williams
Kamara, Holdsworth, Collins, Brandon
Booth, Jevons

Subs

Smithies, Beckett, Worthington, Hardy, Berrett.

As expected Page returns, buut not as expected, Beckett and Worthington remain on the bench.
David Mirfin not even named amongst the substitutes.

With ten minutes gone, Jevons misses a good headed opportunity from a cross from Kamara.

Huddersfield having slightly the better of the first half hour.

HALF TIME 0-0

A better 45 minutes than of late for Huddersfield, can they put in another good half ?
They are on top in the game, stats wise, possession, corners, shots on goal etc, but not on the one stat that really counts.

Attendance - 4,660

Second Half, let's see what the terriers are made of.

Williams wastes a free kick opportunity, our free kick specialist remains on the one strike this season.

Gray is replaced by Boyd midway through the second half. A striker for a striker.

Another substitution for Orient, Purches is replaced by Melligan, a midfielder for a defender, as Orient try to win the game.

Andy Ritchie makes the terriers first substitution as Beckett replaces Jevons, fresh legs but no change in formation for Huddersfield.

Another chance missed by Huddersfield, another Kamara cross but Beckett heads off target.

Worthington replaces Collins for Huddersfield, again a straight swap, midfield replacement for Town.

Super sub Luke Beckett has broken the deadlock with ten minutes to go.
1-0 to Huddersfield Town, a stab in from close range.

Barcham replaces Thornton for Orient as they now chase the game.

Holdsworth is booked for Huddersfield
Kamara is replaced by Berrett with a couple of minutes to go.

FULL TIME - Orient 0 Town 1

That is more like it, just why oh why can Huddersfield Town not play like this more often, it is a mystery that the management needs to get to the bottom of.
Page in the side = clean sheet again
