Huddersfield Town chairman Ken Davy today today told all the prospective managerial candidates, hoping to succeed Andy Ritchie, just what he is looking for.
No surprise in that the adjectives he used are very similar to those he used when talking about what the team lacked after the Southend game, passion, determination etc.
It seems Mr davy is determined to move away from the more laid back Ritchie style of management.
Mr Davy said today: "We`ve had masses of applications already, but we will not be rushed in getting our thoughts together.
"We are not putting pressure on ourselves to bring someone on board in a certain timescale.
"It would be nice to get someone in before the end of the season, as we said when the announcement of Andy Ritchie`s departure was made, but that is not set in stone."
"We are looking for ability, certainly, but we are also about to enter our centenary season and we want somebody who will bring back the passion and determination to succeed.
"We desperately want the team to do well and be successful in the centenary season - we want to see attractive football and Huddersfield Town challenging right at the top, and hopefully achieving promotion to the Championship."
"We want dynamism and determination, because we know the fans deserve that in our centenary season.
