Many Huddersfield Town fans will be highly pleased at this news, some not so.
Terriers goalkeeper Matt Glennon has turned down a new contract at the club.
An offer was made to the No.1, who is being chased by clubs from the Premier League and Championship.
Hs agent Richard Cody has now confirmed reports that Glennon has reluctantly rejected their offer.
Cody told skysports.com
'The offer was way below what we expected and was simply not good enough for a player's of Matty's ability,'
'Many regard Glennon as the best keeper outside the Championship and he has proven that week in, week out over the last two years.
'It is a real shame as Matt loves the club, the fans - but there is no way he can sign what has been offered to him.
'There is interest in him and clubs have been watching him closely, especially after his displays in the FA Cup.'
Rumours suggest Coventy, Southampton, Queens Park Rangers Birmingham and Charlton are believed to be considering bids.
Vital view - As one of our regulars put it on the forum 'he's had more clubs than Nick Faldo' so we are not surprised to see him moving on.
Whilst his current form is good, he did start the season in very poor form, and has certainly cost the club as many points as he has saved it, with his saves or lack of them.
