Coming to a new screen near Huddersfield

I drove past the stadium on my way home today and saw the work going on to replace the old, franky broken, out of date scoreboard.

These are exciting times with over 16,000 season ticket holders for the season ahead. A new chairman-elect in Dean Hoyle and Ken Davy leaving at last!

A manager with experience and a little black book full of contacts. Two new signings already on the books, with the promise of more to come, and probably some to go.

We will at last have a screen big enough to show instant replays, highlights from away games and the such like.

As reported on the official club site the screen is expected to be in place by the close of play Wednesday.

All this excitment and the players are not even back for pre-season yet!

This summer can't go quick enough, and with the fixtures around the corner there isn't that long to go.
