Local Derby Awaits In The Carling Cup

The draw for the Carling Cup first round has been made and this has seen Huddersfield given a home draw, which is favourable, against local rivals Bradford. Huddersfield are currently on a run of four matches unbeaten against their rivals, which does not mean they will win again, but it will give them the physiological edge perhaps?

A familiar face that could return to the Galpharm Stadium might be Chris Brandon, who was released by Stan Ternent and now plays for Bradford.

The tie will take place in the week commencing 11th August, with ticketing details confirmed on the official website soon.

Who's interested in sky tv!!!...??? All Town fans will be at the ground watching it live..Yeh we might get a few bob extra in the coffers, but sky want to run the show if they get their foot in the door...Everything has to be changed around to suit them,KO time ,date etc etc,it takes some of the shine of the match for everybody...Not worth it,hope they keep their noses out...
