Unsworth to sign up at Huddersfield

After a solid display in the 2-1 win over Sheffield united, and some impressive behind closed door displays, Unsworth could become the next new face through the busy Galpharm gates!

He will play against Arsenal and Stan Ternent told the official site:-

'I like what I`ve seen of him so far, and we`ll probably make a decision on things after tomorrow`s match.'

htfc4lyfe95
lol. liked him against sheff utd. arsenal game is the one that decides his career with us then i guess, thats an easy one aint it david!! hope he gets a contract, big (and i mean BIG!) solid (more like flabby =] :P) CB/LB, deserves it
real giant terrier
yeh he was gd. not alot of pace and more of a defencive left bak than williams n skarz. i like him. but if walcott plays on right he will get ripped to shreads
htfc4lyfe95
i imagine most L1 and championship quality left backs would get ripped to shreds by walcott! ;)
username?
unsworth was a quailty player in his day. but like us all age catches up with u. what worres me is lucketti aint got no pace either i just hope stans got a whippet up his sleeve lol
stinger1974
I think hes a good option, bit of solidity a la danny adams
pharmer
butlers young and has a bit of pace. problem sorted stinger
htfc4lyfe95
hes signing this week
pharmer
I dont think pace matters quite as much in league one, he needs at least a year contract and would be a superb addition to the squad in my opinion...solid and experienced he is and should be cover we need central and left back.UP THE TOWN!
jimmyjames83
yeh 1 year deal. and if we get promoted buy some1 else. if we dont do another year on his contract. i hear rumours boothys retiring at end of next season. from my source
htfc4lyfe95
omg............boothy going.....he cant.......how can we replace hm? Oh no 95 I think you may have just started the stead debate again.
pharmer
According to the blades site John Stead is no target man (never was),so therefore by no means a direct replacement for boothy...Unsworth must surely be worth a contract, but, might not get one if he's over run by young whippets tonight ... That would be a shame imo...
80s terrier
i only know about boothy cos my son's best mate is called jeremy booth. and he is boothys nephew
htfc4lyfe95
FOR GODS SAKE SIGN UNSWORTH THEN GET ON WITH BUYIN A FEW MORE STAN
htfc4lyfe95
We are going up! We are going up!
