Novak Signs For The Terriers

Lee Clark has snapped up highly rated Gateshead striker Lee Novak for an undisclosed fee.

The 20 year old prospect has committed himself to a 3 and a half year deal with The Terriers.

Novak will however remain at Gateshead on loan for the remainder of the season, where he has 15 goals already to his name.

Town Gaffer Lee Clark told the clubs official site :-

'I'm delighted with the signing of Lee. We are loaning him straight back to Gateshead until the end of the season as he is a player for the future for us and I am hopeful that he can continue his good form ahead of starting with us next pre-season'

'He is a striker that scores goals, which is his main job, but he has good awareness and he brings other people into the game. He has a fantastic work ethic and we believe that there is a terrific scope for improvement with him; having talked with him, he is the type of character that wants to learn and become a better player.'

'We want good, young, hungry players that are prepared to work hard in order to improve'

Lee Novak has been handed the number 35 shirt at Town, but we will not be seeing him in it until next season!
