Lee Clark and his troops return to home soil following two solid away wins at Hereford and Bristol Rovers, looking to take another three points.
However they are coming up against one of the in-form teams in the division, this afternoon.
Southend have won 10 of the last 13 games and will travel to The Galpharm full of confidence in what is sure to be a tightly contested game.
A loss for Southend would probably dent their faint play off hopes, whilst Town seemingly dont have much to play for, except perhaps their futures for next season.
Robbie Williams is still expected not to be risked due to a groin problem, and Martin Kelly should retain the left back berth,.
There could be a return for Andy Holdsworth from his ankle injury but it remains to be seen if he can displace Tom Clarke from the team.
It will be interesting to see if Lukas Jutkiewicz is selected or even at the game this afternoon, the on-loan Everton player hasn't featured since that infamous shirt throwing event of a few weeks back.
Southend are set to recall Dorian Dervite to the sarting line up and ex-Leeds hitman Dougie Freedman could return on the bench after recovering from a thigh injury.
Mystic 24's prediction for the game:-
Huddersfield 3 - 2 Southend
