HTFC - Sadler on trial at Town

Huddersfield Town have handed a life line to Mat Sadler after his time at Watford turned sour.

The left back was a £750,000 signing at Watford in the 2008 January Transfer window from Birmingham City, where he won promotion and progressed through the youth system.

Sadler has not made an apperance for Watfords first team since december last year, he is so out of favour that he hasn't even made the bench!

Town boss Lee Clark told the clubs official site :-

'He did very well during his time at Birmingham and was part of the team that won promotion to the Premier League. I don't know why things haven't quite worked out for him at Watford to date.

'It has been a while since he has played first-team football, so this trial gives us the ideal chance to have a look at him.'


Should Lee Clark decide to move for the Sadler, it is believed it would be on loan, there will be even more competition between Williams and Skarz for the left back slot, and leaves us here at Vital wondering... Does this spell the end for Williams? or is Skarz set to go out on loan again?
