Robbie Williams and Huddersfield Town have surely booked themselves a feature on the hit TV show Soccer Am on Sky Sports One
Following his stunning strike away at Oldham last Sunday, Williams and his team mates ran away with arms aloft
Speaking to the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, Williams explained the bizarre celebration.
'We call it The Swan,'
'The lads were messing about after training one day to come up with a celebration, and that's what we decided on.
'When I scored I was just running away to celebrate when I heard someone shout 'do The Swan, do The Swan.'
'So that's how it came about. We all ran down the pitch with our arms up making swan's necks. I haven't a clue who came up with it in the first place, but it gave us a laugh and it gave our fans something to talk about as well.'
This shows for me that team spirit is at an all time high at Huddersfield Town, and it is also great to see Williams back in the side and producing solid displays defensively whilst also regaining his shooting boots.
Williams of course arrived at Huddersfield with a reputation as a free kick specialist, and it may at long last look like Robbie has rediscovered that skill.
Long may it continue, especially as the Pontefract left back is playing for a new contract, his current deal expires this summer, and im sure if he can maintain this sort of form he will be here for a few more years yet.
