HTFC - Curzon Ashton take Harris on Loan

Huddersfield Town Academy Graduate Spencer Harris has joined Unibond League First Division North side Curzon Ashton on loan for an initial month

Harris who turned 19 earlier this month will stay at the Manchester based club until January 13th.

Lee Clark explained the decision to let the youngster go out on loan to the clubs official site:-

'Spencer needs to be playing football at this stage of his development and we dont have many reserve games at the minute. The Academy also has a break over Christmas, so for him to go to Curzon and play senior first team football'

Good move from Clark, who obviously wants to see his young players develop, Spencer has yet to feature for the first team, however fellow Academy product Jack Hunt has featured on the bench twice already this season.

There is a link between Huddersfield and Curzon with ex-Town player and coach Martyn Booty currently the assistant manager, and he clearly already knew about Spencer's potential.

So good luck to the young man in his first month away from the club since signing professional terms.
