HTFC - Town Shortlisted for 5 FL Awards!
It has been announced this morning that Huddersfield Town have been nominated for the footballing oscars in FIVE different categories!!!
The Categories that Town will be hoping to win are :-
The Family Club of the Year
Programme of the Year
Best Marketing Campaign of the Year
Player in the Community - Andy Booth
Best Community Project - 'The Town Cheerleaders'
Huddersfield have matched the record of 5 nominations previously held by only Nottingham Forest, who were up for 5 last season, and Southend United who have also been nominated in five categories this season.
Huddersfield will of course be looking to win the family club of the year award for a second time and face stiff competition from Norwich City, MK Dons, Southend and Swindon Town.
Andy Booth will be hoping he wins his category and comes up against Julian Bennett (Nottingham Forest), Peter Leven (MK Dons) and final nominee Zesh Rehman(Bradford City)
The FL Awards are held on the 14th March in London and we will all hope Town win a few of the categories that they are up for.
