HTFC - Lee Clark - April's Manager of The Month
Huddersfield Town's Lee Clark has been named League One Manager of the Month for April.
Clark's free-scoring Terriers amassed an incredible 15 points out of a possible 18, which cemented their play-off position and ended the hopes of Southampton and Colchester.
Town started the month by claiming back-to-back victories over Wycombe and Oldham, before seeing off Walsall 4-3 in a thrilling encounter which included two stoppage-time strikes.
The Terriers then ended the month in style, with a 6-0 drubbing of Stockport at Edgeley park!
Clark beat fellow league one managers Dave Penney of Oldham, Alan Pardew of Southampton and Wycombe's Garry Waddock to the monthly award.
Alan Curbishley, chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said:
'Huddersfield have enjoyed another outstanding month under the guidance of Lee Clark.
'Their five victories helped cement their place in the play-offs and the Terriers will go into their semi-final clash later this month full of confidence as one of the form sides in the division.'
Lets just hope that it doesn't give us the kiss of death usually associated with the manager of the month award!
