HTFC - Retained and Transfer List announced

Lee Clark has added a body to his squad for next seasons attempt at promotion from league one, but he has also announced today the end for definite to five players Town Careers, and made EIGHT available for transfer!!

Out of contract pair Robbie Williams and Phil Jevons will not be offered new terms, and comes as no real surprise.

Dean Heffernan has also not been offered a deal to stay at Town and he leaves to join up with his new A-League side Melbourne Heart.

The other two who haven't done enough to gain a contract for next season are Lewis Nightingale and Taser Hassan who only joined this season on trial, has obviously failed to impress Lee Clark.

The surprise of the players made available for transfer is arguably Michael Collins, the Ireland U-21 player did seem to be a favourite of Lee Clark, but lost his place towards the end of the season through Injury.

Fellow Eire-U21 James Berrett has also been transfer listed along with Simon Eastwood, Joe Skarz, Andy Butler, Jim Goodwin, Lionel Ainsworth and finally Tom Denton.

It has also been reported that Robbie Simpson may be available to leave the club on loan.

So with all that information overload to digest, has Lee Clark made the right decisions?

Are there any players that you think should Leave?

And are there any in this list that you think should STAY?

im surprised he has listed Collins, although it wouldnt surprise me if he has asked for it as Collins has wanted to leave Town for a while and has been asked to stay, Wolves were after him at one point - whilst they were still in the championship..... rest i can accept leaving... have to say surprised Kay wasnt on the for sale list

Nah Clark loves Kay. Bit surprised at Berrett as he can play just about anywhere fairly well but he hasnt played it a while.

Why the ***** Collins and Berrett are transfer listed is beyond me. Collins always has goals in him from midfield and with Drinkwater leaving he could be valuable. And Gerry Murphy described Berrett as the most promising youngster hed ever seen at the club. Im beginning to lose patience with Clark.
