HTFC - ALAN LEE joins Town
Huddersfield Town have today announced the signing on 32 year old striker Alan Lee from Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee, thought to be around 150k
The experienced hitman already has 2 goals in 4 starts to his name having started this season at Crystal Palace, despite Huddersfield having a bid accepted before the season got underway.
Town manager Lee Clark spoke to the official site about the move:-
'We have been looking for a different type of striker to compliment the others we already have at the club, so in that sense I'm really happy with this acquisition.
'Alan will take the load off the younger strikers, who have done brilliantly; it's really tough up there given some of the defenders you come up against and now they have someone alongside them.'
So we welcome Alan Lee on board and hope to see him among the goals for The Terriers, sadly he will be missing tonight as he played for former club Crystal Palace in the first round.

it was always going to be a striker of this calibre, him or Howard, shame the howard deal went sour, but lee is just as good.....discuss
