HTFC - Naysmith on the mend

Former Everton and Sheffield United left back Gary Naysmith is set to resume training at Huddersfield Town following a toe injury that has ruled him out since the Carling Cup tie at Everton in August

The Scottish international will surely provide a boost to Lee Clarks side as they approach the busy Christmas period.

Clark spoke to the Examiner about the left back:-

Gary`s injury was quite unusual, and the surgeon had only performed that particular procedure three or four times previously,

"He`s worked really hard on his rehabilitation, and while we will let the experts make the final decision, just to be in the position of considering a return to training is great news both for Gary and the club."

So good to welcome gary back to training, the question is, should he come back in? Given Liam Ridehalgh impressive form?

He has to come in over Carey, if Ridehalgh gets a game any time soon I'd keep Liam in there.
Impact
Got to be good news. Having never seen him play I don't know if he's better than Ridehalgh or not, but at least we have genuine cover at LB now. If he is better than Ridehalgh he will be a good player!
Pharmer Giles
i missed all the games he featured in but didnt get a glowing review from the radio commentators at the time.
