HTFC - Sean Morrison Recalled by Royals

Reading have recalled defender Sean Morrison from his loan spell at Huddersfield.

The ex-Swindon defender was brought in as cover, as injury hit the Terriers squad, however he was unable to oust captain Peter Clarke and Jamie McCombe from the starting eleven.

It was no surprise Morrison couldn't get in the side as Town kept six clean sheets in seven matches.

Manager Clark was disapointed to lose Sean and he spoke to the clubs official site:-

'I'm gutted to lose Sean because he's a very good footballer and has shown a terrific attitude all the time he's been here.'

'I'd like to have given Sean some game time, but how could I when the two lads in possession of the shirts have been playing the way they have?

'It's a blow that he's gone back, but he's Reading's player and I respect their decision.'

I personally would have liked to see him play after hearing good things about him from some Swindon colleagues, but it wasn't to be, lets hope the Town defence remain in the same rich vein of form for the remaining four games of the season.
