BENIK Afobe may not have played his last game for Huddersfield Town, but that decision will rest solely on Arsenal and a certain Mr.Wenger.
Afobe speaking to sky sports revealed that he would be willing to return to The Terriers, but fears a move to the Championship may be more likely.
Afobe said:-
'You never know what is going to happen in football, but after the season has finished I'll return to Arsenal for pre-season and hopefully get a chance to impress back there,' Afobe told skysports.com.
'If not, and the gaffer wants me to come out on loan again, then Huddersfield would be a great place to come back to because I've really enjoyed my football here this season.
'Championship football would be the next step for me though and obviously Huddersfield can't offer me that, so I'd have to reassess my options and most importantly see what Arsenal want me to do.'
The 18 year old who featured as a lone striker for much of his time at Huddersfield netted 8 Goals in 21 starts and weighed in with his fair shift of effort, desire and was full of running along with some crucial assists too.
The youngster who picked up a knock in the play-off final, meaning he missed out on England U-19 honours, has already vacated Huddersfield and returned home but would be welcomed back with open arms by Manager Lee Clark and the fans alike.
However I fear its more likely he will be at a Championship team, however we will all have to wait and see.
