HTFC - Cadamarteri & Colgan offered extensions
Huddersfield Town have offered new one-year contracts to striker Danny Cadamarteri and goalkeeper Nick Colgan.
Cadamarteri, 31, signed on a free transfer from Dundee United in January, when 37-year-old Colgan was also taken on as a free agent.
Both signed deals until the end of last season, but have now been offered new contracts with the Terriers.
Cadamarteri scored three goals in nine appearances, while Colgan made one start in the JP Trophy.
Cadamarteri is in his second spell with Town after being with them previously from 2007 to 2009, before joining Dundee United.
Cadders came on as a substitute in the League One play-off final at Old Trafford, which Huddersfield lost 3-0 to Peterborough United.
Colgan who initially joined on a months loan to provide cover for Ian Bennett whilst number one Alex Smithies was injured, found himself released by Grimsby and jumped at the chance to join the Terriers on a short term deal.
Both are expected to sign the new one year deals offered to them.

I know Cadamateri's stats on his return are good, but c'mon we all still know the type of player he is, never been a fan of him tbh and yes I'll still get behind him because anyone in town colours I want to do well for us, but rather not see him in the picture. just not enough of an impact player, which is what we are looking to use him as. however....prove me wrong Cads. I'm watching :)
