'If It's Football, It's Vital'

X-Files - Liam Dickinson

LIAM Dickinson, the former Town loan striker has been released by Yorkshire side Barnsley after failing to net a goal this season!

The 25 year old had signed a two year deal at Barnsley but struggled to break into the Tykes side and was loaned out to league One Walsall where he also failed to make an impact.

The former Stockport player, who won promotion in a side that also featured Town star Anthony Pilkington, earned himself a £750,000 move to Championship side Derby the follwoing summer.

He found himself surplus at the Rams and had loan spells at Huddersfield, Leeds and Blackpool before signing for Brighton for an undisclosed fee.

So where next for the 6ft 3in striker?

Could he fill a role back at the Terriers?

What do you think

Worth a gamble for a free agent?
