HTFC - Terriers Linked with Robinson

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Anton Robinson has been the subject of a transfer bid from Huddersfield Town according to reports.

Recent speculation regarding Robinson has hotted up in the last day or so with The Terriers rumoured to have made a bid that has been rejected by their league one counterparts.

The Daily Echo's Neil Meldrum posted on Twitter that an initial bid had been rejected by Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell and added...

'Mitchell confirmed #htfc bid was genuine with sell on and appearance clauses.... #afcb would consider higher offer for Robinson.'

However Lee Clark came out today to state that players must leave before others arrive, he told the Examiner:-

"We`re always looking at players who are out there and may be available,"

But I do want to cut the squad back before bringing in any further signings, and there are two aspects to it.

"One is financial, because like all clubs, we have to work within the new salary cap guidelines.

"The other is practicality, in that we can only name five substitutes rather than the previous seven and so, as a coaching staff, we can work with a more manageable number of players."

This could be a case of smoke and mirrors or we could be set to see some immediate departures from The Galpharm stadium.

Clark did go on to make a coy comment about Robinson that could be a tell tale that a deal isn't far off, he said:-

He`s a player I am aware of, like hundreds of others, but he`s not our player so I wouldn`t be in the business of commenting about him.

Interesting stuff!

Will Robinson be coming?

So just who could be going?

Heard a rumour, know something? Then have Your say here today!.

would be a solid signing, and would certainly mean departure of some midfielders,

Think we have more than enough new signings. Its going to take ages for all this lot to gel.Every game is worth 3 points and we cant afford to be dropping any.If we get off to a slow start with draws and the odd win here and there we will be struggling again at the end of the season.
