'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Clarke loaned to Leyton Orient

Tom Clarke's Huddersfield career looks as though it's entering the final embers after he was loaned out to Leyton Orient.

The midfielder has joined The O's on a 3-month loan, the maximum time that an 'emergency loan' can run for - 93-days - although he will not be permitted to face Town in a few weeks time and should the sides meet in the FA cup he would also be ineligible.

Lee Clark, talking on to the official website, paid tribute to Clarke although all but confirms this loan 'puts him in the shop window' so his days are numbered: 'we are delighted that Tom has secured himself a move. He has shown an excellent attitude in training and in the recent development matches and we are pleased that he will be able to get some first team football under his belt.

'He is a terrific professional joining a very good club and manager in Russell Slade. If he does well and impresses when he is given the opportunity then Leyton Orient may extend the deal, if they don't, then at least he has put himself in the shop window.'

That is what it does is it not?

Unless I am reading between the lines in the wrong way...
