'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Clark issues an apology to Town Fans

Lee Clark has issued an apology to the Town faithful following his silent night in the wake of a disappointing 2-2 draw at Notts County.

Clark spoke to the clubs official site:-

'I would never try and short change the most important people of this football club - the fans,'

In hindsight it probably wasn't the right thing to do,' admitted Clark

'All I can do is apologise to the fans. I understand that they wanted to hear from me as to why the result occurred. I don't have any hidden agendas; I do things naturally - I am an emotional guy.

Lee did reveal that he came out to speak to the media but in-fact they were not ready for him or indeed even around - quite contrary to the report from the Huddersfield press officer who was tasked with attempting to get Clark to come out and speak.

I think we can safely assume that he won't be rebuffing the media in future and this should now allow us all to move our focus to destroying Wycombe on the live Sky camera's and showing not only this division but the watching nation that Huddersfield Town mean business this season.

UP THE TOWN.

The news items today that have put our canny manager in the spotlight seem to indicate there is a distinct possibility that someone who shall remain nameless has taken him to one side and read him the riot act.
