Huddersfield Town Fans are today turning The Galpharm Stadium Lime Green as a peaceful protest aimed at former owner Ken Davy.
The former chairman transferred Town's shareholding in the stadium back in 2004 for £2 to his own company in his words 'I've moved the shares to protect them until the club is stable'
A transfer of the shares back to Huddersfield Town was reached and agreed back in February 2010 - but this deal fell through for various reasons we shan't go into here.
Now the fans are demanding that the shares are returned and are performing a Peaceful protest with around 7,000 fans expected to turn up to the televised Sky TV game on Saturday in Lime Green T-Shirts that read:-
£2
Do the right thing
Give us back our shares
www.soldfor2quid.com.
Supporters are encouraged not to purchase any food or beverages whilst inside the stadium as under the current set out of the stadium none of these sales benefits the club.
Everyone is behind the reasoning for returning the Shares - lets hope that Ken Davy takes note.
