HTAFC- LEE CLARK - YOUR'E FIRED!

Huddersfield Town has today parted company with First Team Manager Lee Clark and his backroom coaching team.

Chairman Dean Hoyle explained the rationale behind the sacking to htafc.com:-

'This was a very difficult decision; one not taken lightly or in response to one result. Concerns have been raised over recent weeks.

'Lee and his coaching staff have put their all into the job over the past three seasons and he has made a huge contribution to the Club.

'However with 16 matches to go we still have an opportunity to achieve promotion and we have made this change with this in mind.'

The parting of ways comes after Tuesday night's disappointing home loss to promotion rivals Sheffield United.

Academy Manager Mark Lillis will take temporary charge of the first team until a new manager is appointed.

Dead right Pharmer Giles.Im ecstatic.Deano must be a very relieved man too, surely he must have had this move on his mind for quite some time. Now its a matter of getting Neil Warnock in to repair the damage as quickly as possible.Happy days.Lets move on and set our thoughts on what is now a very realistic goal of promotion.NOWS THE TIME TO BELIEVE.

Time to move on.. did you lot know phone call was so short as Lee Clark hung up on Dean Hoyle...
Terrier24
Why am i not surprised Terrier 24.Typical of his way of dealing with situations that dont go his way imo.It seems to me that his players got similar treatment.Eg,loaned out, left out,or frozen out in some other way.No wonder he couldnt get the best out of the players if thats his attitude. Good ridance clark.
