Karl Robinson linked with vacant Huddersfield Post

According to reports Milton Keynes Dons manager Karl Robinson is in the frame to replace Lee Clark at Huddersfield Town.

The story was broken by Sky Sports in the wake of confirmed news that Lee Clark had been relieved of his duties at Huddersfield.

The search now starts for a manager with only 16 games left of the current league one season and with Huddersfield lying in 4th place.

Whether Robinson, 31, would be prepared to leave his work in progress at MK Dons will remain to be seen with his current employers lying 5th behind Huddersfield with a game in hand but currently 6 points adrift.

The lure of money to spend and the potential at Huddersfield may be too much of a lure however.

Neil Warnock, Simon Grayson, Phil Brown and Billy Davies are the front-runners for the vacancy, although Robinson is also believed to be high on the club's short-list.

Lets wait and see..

Even Robinson could get us promoted with the squad we have at the club

He would be a great long term choice - but then so was Lee Clark ---- maybe the new man should be more experienced - McCarthy, Warnock or similar? Who knows in Dean Hoyle we trust to make the right choice

It'll be interestin to see who comes in - hopefully someone whom has experience to get teams to the EPL.

I can't believe that Hoyle won't have someone in mind / lined up
