The MK Dons boss Karl Robinson says he has not been approached by Huddersfield and is not interested in the manager's position at the Galpharm.
Robinson was one of a host of names linked with The Terriers as the news broke of Lee Clark's sacking on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old Liverpudlian spoke with BBC Three Counties Radio about the speculation:-
'There will be a day when a job comes up and I'll think I've taken the club to where I want to take it and move on,'
'But that's not at the moment. Everyone knows where my loyalties lie.'
'There's so many other chapters in my life that I need to fulfil before I move on and mature as an individual.
'It's a big club. The sacking of Lee Clark I don't agree with. What he's done is given the next manager arguably the best job in football.'
'I spoke to him on Wednesday. I said 'I don't think you'll be unemployed for much longer'.'
The speculation and reports linking Robinson with the Huddersfield post he described as 'A little bit annoying. But it's the nature of the industry,'
he did also add 'There has been serious interest [from some clubs] but there hasn't been one that's come to the forefront of my mind.'
Is Karl Robinson ruling himself out? If he was approached it may be a different song sheet he could be singing from.
His side does play good football and he ticks all of the boxes that Dean was looking for when we went in search of a manager previously and eventually chose Lee Clark.
Expect the managers to come out in droves and deny and express interest... Ultimately the manager that does come in is going to be under immense pressure to get this club out of this division with a maximum of only 16 games left!
