Simon Grayson is all set for the pla-off campaign, but reminded us there are still 3 games left to complete of the regular season.
Grayson has called for the Huddersfield Town fans to 'Enjoy the ride' as the team enters the do or die stage of the season.
The Gaffer is confident that his side can kick their recent losing streak and seal their play-off slot today, and then look forward to getting into the end of season promotion lottery.
Simon spoke to htafc.com:-
"We`ve gone through the kind of dip most teams do at some stage of a season. We`ve had players out injured and chopped and changed a little to look at different systems.
"At times we have been a little bit open and a bit naive, but we have experienced players like Damien Johnson and Tommy Miller coming back into contention.
"We need to be positive and banish any nerves among supporters. We all want the same thing so let`s stick together and pull in the same direction.
"Let`s enjoy the three remaining league games, then enjoy the play-offs, because we have a great chance of succeeding."
'Everybody talks about finishing either third or fourth to get the home advantage in the second leg, which I understand, but I have been involved in Play-Offs as a manager and player and got results and promotion by finishing in fifth or sixth. I don't believe there is a set position that you have to finish to guarantee you promotion.
'Once you get into the Play-Offs form does go out of the window, but I think it is important that you carry confidence and momentum into the semi-finals. When I was at Blackpool we went into the Play-Offs on the back of seven victories and never felt like we would lose. On the other hand teams have stumbled into the Play-Offs and got promoted - it is a lottery. I think the Play-Offs have been a fantastic invention having been on both sides of the coin - it keeps the season alive and anything can happen.'
