'If It's Football, It's Vital'
HTAFC:- Pre-Season Friendly Confirmed
Huddersfield Town have confirmed their first pre-season fixture ahead of their build-up to their first Championship season in 11 years.
The side chosen is Blue Square North Play-Off semi-finalists Guiseley and that match is scheduled for July 21st with a 3pm kick off.
The game will take place at Guiseley's Nethermoor stadium and will be the first game at the stadium following refurbishment works which have taken the whole of the season just gone.
Guiseley's squad includes former Town players Simon Baldry, Chris Senior, Chris Holland and Andy Holdsworth.
I can't quite believe Holdsworth has dropped so far down the football ladder, always rated him.
It isn't Town's first visit to Guisley we have had fixtures here in 2004 with a 2-0 win and in 2003 there was an 8-0 win.
Let's hope it's a 2003 scoreline on July 21st!
It is expected that more pre-season fixtures will now start to filter through as Simon Grayson prepares for The Championship.
