Skipper linked with move away
Peter Clarke has been linked with a move to Ipswich Town according to some online reports.
After Huddersfield captured Cardiff's Anthony Gerrard TWTD.co.uk ran a story that Huddersfield could be set to cash in on their 30-year-old captain.
I very much doubt this to be anywhere near the mark with Skipper Clarke just re-named as club captain for the forthcoming season and the first Championship game kicking off in 9 days time at Cardiff City.
Clarke is under contract at Town for a further two years until 2014 and I very much doubt he himself would want to move away from a club he has just spent the past three seasons with trying to get to where we are now.
Let's put this down to the worst transfer rumour of the season and move on.
