Gerrard all set for reunion
Anthony Gerrard is all set to face his former employers Cardiff City tonight live on Sky Sports HD1.
The cousin of Liverpool & England star Steven was brutally shown the door at Cardiff and deemed surplus to requirements with the Welsh side.
Gerrard will be out to prove that new Cardiff boss Malky Mackay was wrong to let him leave, whilst endearing himself to his new faithful followers at Huddersfield Town.
Gerrard spoke to htafc.com about the game:-
'I`m not going out there on Friday to prove a point to Cardiff; I will be going out to prove to myself that I was good enough to play in that Cardiff team. I want to establish myself as one of the best defenders in the League. A lot of people know what I am capable of and that`s why the Manager brought me here. Hopefully I can now get back to my true form."
How often do we see former players have the game of their lives against us, tonight could be the time to see one of our new recruits have a stormer against his former side Cardiff.
