Rhodes to Blackburn - Done Deal

Jordan Rhodes departure from Huddersfield Town is expected to be officially announced tomorrow morning with Blackburn finally capturing their prize target.

It is being circulated that Rovers have offered the 8 Million asking price up-front with further add-ons should they win promotion & other bonuses based on appearances & Goals.

Huddersfield owe Ipswich a reported 10% sell on fee, from the previous deal, that brought the prolific hit-man to Huddersfield.

It is reported that Blackburn are offering Rhodes a whopping wage rise of 166k a week - Thats 8 million in wages over the reported 4 year deal thats on the table.

Good luck to the young man. He has served his time here and with a great deal of respect and remained level-headed at all times.

He has left us with two Championship goals and a lot of fond memories.

We thank you Jordan for everything.

Let's hope we have secured a deal that means he can't play against us this season!!

Hopefully our paths cross again in a more positive note in the future, but the only way is certainly up for Jordan.

The only real surprise is that his destination isn't the Premiership.

"It is reported that Blackburn are offering Rhodes a whopping wage rise of 166k a week" £116,000 a week? Are you sure about that number? haha
tombo1984
166k a week seems a lot?
ANDY710
42k a week more like. Not 166k!

116K a week, he aint THAT good and we aint Man City LOL. Secondly, its not *m upfront plus addons, its more around 3.5-4 up front then targeted clauses. no doubt they will be based on goals and Rovers promotion with a sell on clause too.
