Grayson refusing to give up on Beckford

Simon Grayson is still refusing to rule out a loan move for Jermaine Beckford, despite the players agent tweeting to say that his client would not be going anywhere.

The Leicester striker, who played under Grayson at Leeds, was said to be disappointed at the last minute collapse of his loan deal, that was struck on deadline day only for Leicester to pull the plug at the last possible moment.

Beckford's agent tweeted saying that Jermaine would remain a Leicester City player, for the time being, but that hasn't put off Grayson.

Grayson confirmed 'We've been told he's going nowhere at this moment in time, but that can change after the weekend, it could change tomorrow,'

'That's how football is. When you have a deal done at five to 11 and it all gets changed nothing surprises me. That's just part and parcel of football, so we'll keep an eye on every situation.'

It is sure that Grayson will have other targets in mind but with the emergency loan only covering 93 days, don't be surprised to see some action towards the end of the loan window.
