Dixon & Vaughan expected to be back for Bristol

Town could be boosted by the return from injury of Paul Dixon and James Vaughan for Saturdays home game against Bristol City.

The news on Dixon comes at a welcome time as Jack Hunt begins his suspension following his red card at Millwall.

Dixon had lost his place to Calum Woods in recent weeks but it is expected that Woods will revert to right back on Saturday with Dixon slotting in to his preferred left-back role.

Joel Lynch will however be pressing his claims for that starting position, having started Saturdays defeat at Millwall at left-back, he finished the game at centre half after Anthony Gerrard was forced off injured.

Gerrard has aleady been back in training and is confirmed as avaaliable for the game.

Striker Vaughan will be the major boost, with Grayson remaining tight lipped on his situation.
