Beckford & Vaughan Doubtful for Rovers clash

Beckford & Vaughan Doubtful for Rovers clash

Huddersfield loan strikers James Vaughan and Jermaine Beckford both remain doubtful for Tuesday nights game with Blackburn Rovers at the John Smiths Stadium.

Vaughan missed the defeat at Millwall and Saturday' home win against Bristol City with a recurrence of the thigh injury that forced him to miss a couple of matches earlier in the season.

Beckford was a surprise absentee and it transpired after the game against Bristol City that the reason the striker was absent was due to a hamstring strain picked up in training.

Both are rated as doubtful for the clash with Blackburn Rovers.

Sean Scannell & Lee Novak started the game on Saturday, supported by Adam Clayton, but Town struggled to create many clear cut opportunities and will surely have to do much better against Rovers if both Beckford & Vaughan miss out again.

Jack Hunt will also miss the game as he serves the final match of his two game ban for foul & abusive language towards the referee.
