20% sell on for Rhodes as Dixon assists

JORDAN RHODES netted a brace for Scotland, with Town left-back Paul Dixon setting up the first of his goals in mid-week.

It was revealed following the game by Town Chairman Dean Hoyle that the John Smiths Stadium club have a 20% sell on clause on the Scottish Goal Machine.

The 8 million pound striker was making his fifth appearance for his national side, and his second start, he now has three international goals for Scotland.

Dean Hoyle speaking to the Examiner was quoted as saying "Jordan is a very good footballer and a great lad.

"And while the timing of his move was tough, it was an excellent deal for us and him.

"I didn`t really think anyone would meet our 8m asking price, but Blackburn did, and we also have a 20% sell-on clause."
