FA overturn Anthony Gerrard's Red Card

Huddersfield have won their appeal against Anthony Gerrard's red card in Saturday's draw with Crystal Palace.

The defender was dismissed in the 81st minute for an alleged foul on Yannick Bolasie, when replays showed it was a perfectly tied challenge.

This means no 3 game ban for the defender, who scored in the Terriers Boxing Day clash with Blackpool.

Gerrard took to Twitter to express his delight:-

Buzzin my red has been rescinded, I was ragin dat the ref blew his whistle for a foul never mind a red! Its good common sense has proveiled.
