Gobern targeting February Return

Forgotten man Oscar Gobern has set a return date of February.

The midfielder, signed from Southampton, has missed almost all of the season to date through injury and the 21-year-old is targeting a first team return in February.

Gobern is back in training after surgery to repair a troublesome ankle injury, and in some respects he will be like having a new signing again after not featuring since the Capital One Cup defeat at Preston.

Gobern signed in 2011 by Lee Clark has made 25 appearances for Town and scored 2 goals, although that should have been many more with his aerial threat posed at set pieces.

I would be the first to admit he hasn't been fantastic since signing, however he does have the potential and this may be crucial to get him back & fit for the Championship run in.
