Adkins firm Favorite for Terriers Job

NIGEL ADKINS is the favorite to take over at Huddersfield Town after Simon Grayson was dismissed yesterday.

The former Southampton manager, who himself was recently sacked, is currently on holiday in Dubai.

Adkins took Southampton on a double promotion run from league one to the championship and then up to the Premier League, where after a difficult start he seemed to have guided them on course before being harshly given the boot.

The former Physio, turned manager, of course started out at Scunthorpe, and is seen by many as the ideal candidate to push Huddersfield Town forward.

Other names linked include Owen Coyle, Billy Davies, Gareth Southgate, Phil Parkinson, Gary Megson, Steve Kean, Paul Ince, Kenny Jackett, Michael Appleton, Phil Brown, Paul Jewell

So hopefully it is Adkins appointed sooner rather than later, as there isn't any names on the list other than him that I would want at the moment!

Have your say, Who do you want in at HTAFC?
