Theo Robinson 'It is brilliant to be back'

THEO ROBINSON is getting re-accustomed to Huddersfield after arriving on an emergency loan deal from Derby County.

The Ex-Terrier has been training today with his new teammates and many familiar faces from his previous spell with the club under Lee Clark.

Huddersfield have struggled to find the back of the net this season, and are in fact the lowest scorers in the division, with a return of 34 goals from 32 games.

The last time Town scored two goals in a match was way back on December the 8th in a 2-2 draw with Bolton Wanderers, with James Vaughan netting and the other being an own goal by Zat Knight of Bolton!

The last time two Town players scored was in the 4-2 home defeat by Leeds United, just the week previous to the Derby game, with Chris Atkinson & Adam Clayton (pen) finding the net.

Those worrying statistics are why the signing of Theo Robinson will provide the team and fans with a boost. Robinson has been in decent goal scoring form for Derby netting 8 goals in 13 starts, and a further goal as substitute a situtation he mas made a further 16 appearances from and the reason he wanted out.

Theo wants to be playing first team football and not warming the bench and he revealed to htafc.com

"I have been restricted to playing from the bench for a large part of the season at Derby; when I heard that Huddersfield Town were interested I grabbed the opportunity with both hands,"

'It is brilliant to be back'

"I will try my best for the team, starting this Saturday against Ipswich. I am here to work hard and score as many goals as I can. I am fully fit and raring to go."

I think it's great to see Theo back in the blue & white stripes of Town, let's hope he can find the goals to gain us 3 points on Saturday, and net many more as we bid to avoid the drop back to League One.
