Oscar Gobern in contention despite head injury

OSCAR GOBERN will be available for the trip to Brighton despite suffering a clash of heads with James Vaughan at Burnley that saw the lanky midfielder withdrawn before half-time.

Head Physio James Haycock has given the midfielder the all clear after it was confirmed there was no break (to his nose) however he did require three stitches and currently sports two black eyes.

The midfielder who has missed almost the entire season after having ankle surgery, following the Capital One Cup defeat at Preston.

Gobern has split opinions in the town fans eyes, however having just recently returned to the side he is like having a new signing on board, and after shaking off some rust against Ipswich he was looking in good form at Burnley until the unfortunate clash of heads which forced him off.

Huddersfield have a plethora of midfield players and Scott Arfield, who had been dropped, impressed after replacing Gobern at Burnley and both are now set to fight it out to make the starting eleven for Saturdays tough challenge at Brighton.
