'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fullback Commits To Terriers

Liam Ridehalgh has agreed a new one-year extension to his Huddersfield stay.

The fullback spent time on loan with both Chesterfield and Rotherham last season, the second season he's been shipped out on loan by The Terriers, however he's hoping to make an impact next time round.

He told the official website: 'I've been out on loan for the last two seasons and I think my development has gone pretty well.

'I've played quite a lot in Leagues One and Two, so hopefully my next challenge is to tackle the Championship.'

At 22 Ridehalgh is now at the stage where he needs to be making the breakthrough on a regular basis with Huddersfield, and you'd envisage the new deal offered to him by Mark Robins suggest that 2013/14 is the season for him to shine!
