Winger Approach Rejected

Huddersfield were recently "understood" to have made a move for Jamie Paterson, with it believed that he had become (aren't they all) Mark Robins' no.1 transfer target!

The 21-year-old enjoyed a highly successful season with Walsall last time round, scoring an impressive 13-goals for the League One side, and these appearances haven't gone unnoticed.

While it wasn't confirmed that it was actually The Terriers that made the offer it was confirmed by Walsall's chief executive that an offer for the winger has been rejected, with The Saddlers remaining keen to extend Paterson's contract with him moving into the final year of it.
