Fixtures released TODAY.

THE NEW SEASON IS UPON US!

The Championship fixtures are just under 2 hours away from being released.

The announcement of the fixtures commences the season countdown in many football fans brain, and signifies the start of the 2013/14 season.

Transfers & friendly matches are visible now around the corner and the players are back in training from the 27th June.

As part of the Football Leagues 125th anniversary celebrations, they made the unusual step of releasing 6 fixtures early, pairing up sides with opposition if 'historical significance'

So we can rule out facing Burnley, Bolton, Derby & Blackburn on the opening day, but who would you like to be facing on opening day?

Twitter came up with the following suggestions:-

@TownTerrier
Barnsley at home would be a nice first match. Failing that Blackpool away. #Htfc

@SivanJohn
QPR on both games. Interesting game since their owner & me come from the same country.

@Maynard_htafc
leeds at home!

@tomhtfc92
qpr at home

Tweet us @VitalHTAFC if you want to have a guess before the revealing at 9am.

Our own prediction was Yeovil away on opening day, with Doncaster at home on the final day of the season.
