Robins targets 5 summer deals

The most recent Vital Huddersfield Town poll, asked just how many summer signings do you expect Mark Robins to make.

Huddersfield are yet to do any business this summer, with the players set to report back for pre-season training in under a week on June 27th

Huddersfield have also not sold any players, but have said goodbye to the released Alan Lee, Scott Arfield, Tom Clarke & Lee Novak who has joined Birmingham after turning down Town's offer of a contract.

Whereas loan players James Vaughan, Neil Danns & Jermaine Beckford all returned to their parent clubs, with the Terriers hopeful of securing Vaughan on a permanent deal after he was made the number one summer target and only confirmed player of interest made public.

Robins confirmed that 'Hopefully well be getting five players to come into the building, maybe more, who knows?'

Terriers fans voted that an incoming of 6 players is their prediction, but a lack of movement has lead to rumours of Simon Church, Jon Stead, Henri Lansbury among others linked to the club in recent days.

Many fans are frustrated that the club hasn't moved to secure any new faces, as quickly as they would have liked, whilst seeing other teams investing in new talent.

The club stated they had a plan and targets for both scenario's of staying up and going down on the final day of last season, and Town fans patience for a signing seems to be running thin.

I expect we will see some movement starting Monday, here's hoping anyway!
