Robins looking forward to Chesterfield test

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN'S first team squad take on Chesterfield today at the Proact Stadium in their first senior pre-season friendly.

The Terriers senior squad returned from their Spanish training camp yesterday and many will feature at Chesterfield with Robins set to play different players in both halves of the game at Chesterfield.

Robins spoke to htafc.com:-

"The first pre-season game is all about fitness - we want to get minutes on the pitch into their legs.'

"The training facility at Spain was brilliant; we`ve been looked after superbly well. The preparation was spot on in terms of fuelling the players and training has been properly done in some pretty gruelling conditions at times - really serious heat. It`s been a really worthwhile exercise with other excellent advantages, as the squad has really got to know each other too. Everyone has come home with an enthusiasm to continue.

Tickets for the match are priced 10 Adults, with concessions, OAPS and under-19s - at just 5

The game will see Town come up against former Terrier Gary Roberts who has recently signed for the league two side.
