Wallace out of Millwall fixture

MURRAY WALLACE who has been an ever-present on the Town bench this season will not feature at Millwall.

The young Scottish defender instead was sent as part of an U21 team to play Nottingham Forest today as the first team headed for Millwall.

The Scotland U21 international has been told he needs game time by Manager Mark Robins and with Joel Lynch, Gerrard & Clarke in fine form he is unlikely to dislodge one of them from the starting senior team.

Wallace's absence however may hint to the most cynical Town fan that perhaps we could see a change in formation at Millwall knowing there is no central defender on the bench.

Town still have Calum Woods recovering from the collar bone injury suffered and Keith Southern & Anton Robinson are also sidelined through injury.
