Match Officials: Huddersfield vs Millwall

The Referee for today's Championship game is Mr.Paul Tierney from Lancashire.

Tierney twice officiated Huddersfield Town matches last season, with The Terriers having mixed results, both of those games coming away from the John Smiths Stadium.

There was a thrashing of 1-6 at Nottingham Forest and a 1-3 away win at Bristol City in April.

Tierney officiated Millwall just the once last season, when Hull were the visitors to the New Den and ran away with all 3 points.

This season Tierney has officiated 18 matches, dishing out 59 yellow cards and 8 red's, the red card tally already being double what he handed out in the previous season!

His most recent visit to the John Smiths stadium was this season as he took the goalless draw with Doncaster, handing out 3 yellow cards on that occasion.

His last Championship game was a 3-0 victory for Middlesborough over Reading, where he booked 6 players and dismissed one.

Referee: Mr Paul Tierney (Lancashire)
Assistant: Mr David Benton (South Yorkshire)
Assistant: Mr Ryan Johnson (Manchester)
Fourth Official: Mr Richard Clark (Northumberland)
